Karim grew up surrounded by all things mechanical and several classics cars, it was only natural that he persued a career chasing his passion for all things with an engine. Having been taught the ropes from a young age by his father and uncle at their workshop where they restored classics cars, he went on to hone his skills training with some incredibly influential and knowledgeable people within the industry. Starting out working with rally cars, moving to restoring prestigious pre war Rolls Royces, private race teams, rallying around the globe, and ending up working in the pre war sector of racing. With years of experience in the trade he thought it was time to start his own workshop and that's where Pennant classics was born. 

Racing and rallying has always been the forefront of what the business  is really  all about. We have worked on some of the hardest, gruelling rallies and races out there, as a result of this, reliability and endurance is what we strive to achieve with all cars in the workshop. Whether it's preparing your race car pre & post season, supporting it on a race or rally across the globe or building one to suit your needs, we have you covered. 

With our in house engine building workshop we can ensure that the heart of your car is kept in its best health, we can tailor your build to suit your needs. Working closely with our local machine shop we can make sure that your dreams can be achieved, be that originality, power or reliability. Our engines go through a lengthy process of testing before being matched back with the vehicle. From your road going car to an out and out front running race car we can cover all aspects of what your end goal is.

We understand that classic cars aren't always used for long periods of time, with our tried and tested methods, we can ensure that pre or post season your car is maintained to preserve and protect the life of the vehicle, so that it is fit and ready to be enjoyed when the time comes. 'Servicing' a car we find to be a broad term and we like to cater this to you. Whether it's a general check over, oil and filter replacement, tune up, or a full post lay up over-hall we can make sure it's the correct procedure for you vehicle. 

Its always been a belief of Karim's that a small team is paramount to giving the best and most personal service possible. We all specialise in different aspects of the trade and in turn work together to create a great team.

 Greg came to work with us at the start of the business, his passion being old landrovers. With a wealth of knowledge under his belt from fabrication to wiring, he has thrived in the busy environment and has learned a lot along the way with new skills of working within the racing industry just being another string to his bow. 

Oliver started out his apprenticeship working for the NHS on ambulances, that has in turn taught him the skills to be nothing but meticulous in all aspects of his work. His passion being all things Aston Martin. Curating his own archive of artefacts to aid the originality, history files and heritage of the classic cars we all love.

There isn't much we can't achieve once your vehicle arrives at our workshop. Being situated at the highly sought after site of Henrys Car Barn, we can store your vehicle in our dehumidified storage facility where it will be looked after whilst you aren't using it. Should you need it transporting across the country or the continent, we can organise safe and professional transport and hand over of your vehicle by using one of our enclosed trailers or trusted transport parties.
